GNB Industrial Power changes Absolyte IIP chemistry for new Absolyte GP battery systems

GNB Absolyte GP replaced the GNB Absolyte IIP product in 2008.  GNB changed the positive grid alloy of the Absolyte VRLA product from lead-antimony-cadmium to lead-calcium-tin.

To differentiate the updated product, the brand name was changed from Absolyte IIP to Absolyte GP and model numbers changed from ‘A’ to ‘G’ (e.g. 100A33 became 100G33, etc.). In addition, the plastic jar colors were changed as follows:
